RIVERWALK READERS GROUP GUIDELINES:
1. Logistics
Meeting times are usually 3rd Monday each month at 7 pm
Host location rotates, though book selector will often be the host
Treats: light snacks
Reading list created by group (books must be in-print paperbacks)
Bloomsbury Books offers us 30% discount (book group number = 150)
2. Book selector for the month will send out e-mail reminder (book, host, location)
3. Everyone RSVPs by e-mail to host
4. If too many readers show up for a meeting, half the group will adjourn to another member's home
5. Person who recommended the evening's book will e-mail background information about the author/book to the group
6. Person who recommended the book will coordinate the discussion
7. Each person will bring at least one question or observation for the discussion
8. Membership in the group is limited to Riverwalk residents; members may occasionally bring a guest and will let the host know when a guest is attending
